What did you do during your Earth Hour?
Here we made some tea and settled down to a couple rounds of Scrabble... of course. It was lovely to settle down as the day was ending, it felt timeless & natural in its own way. Turning off the lights, television and closing the computers was so relaxing.
This is, however, coming from the girl who wants one of these. Ya know.

Oh my goodness I want to live in one of those houses too! I've been part of the team working on the stage production of Lord of the Rings - this house is a perfect hobbit dwelling.
Thanks for all your inspiring blog postings.
That it so cool! They should just GIVE you guys houses like that... speaking of inspirational things!
Anyone who is a friend of the Hobbits is a friend around here~ thanks so much for writing :) and keep up the amazing work!
My fiance and I read out loud to each other in the mid-afternoon sunlight coming in a western window. It was nice.
Oh, that sounds lovely! And with all those cozy socks you've been making, I'm sure it was warm and wonderful. :)
Looks like you had a lovely time...there's something so nice about simplicity...
Thanks Mollie- I'm catching up on your blog and really enjoying it!
Cool house! I stupidly managed to forget earth hour for the period a few hours before until 20 minutes after. I can't find my candle holders either. (They may not have come back from Chapel Hill, I can't remember.)
Noricum, you can come over to my low impact woodland home and celebrate Earth Hour any time! :)
Hi Laurie, nice to see a fellow Scrabble addict! Something we do very often to try to soften the powerful urges of non-stop TV. How perfect ~ a hobbit home and a game of Scrabble!
